| Has been with the club for more than ten years and had a testimonial match in 2007. Looked like it might be the end in 2008/09 but he forced his way back into the team and the midfield wouldn't be the same without Shuggy. The only Saints player to win three trophies with the club - two first division titles and the League Challenge Cup - he also scored the winner against Stirling Albion in 1998 to effectively keep the club in business. A tough tackling midfielder who always gives 100 per cent, he is a firm fans favourite. |
