The Dutch defender signed a one year contract after impressing Saints boss Danny Lennon on trial. The leftback started his career at AZ Alkmaar but failed to make an appearance for the first team. Had two years on loan at Telstar and proved a more than capable of Jure Travner - just as good at crossing but rather more solid at the back. The new style of play seemed to suit him in the opening months of the season and he set up both our goals in a fantastic win against Hibs at Easter Road. Seemed to fade towards the end of 2011 - not really a surprise as he's started pretty much every game - but a great player when he's on top form.
