Postponed games rearranged

If the games go ahead and we beat Alloa in the cup, we will be playing twice a week from January 9 through to February 13. The run will see us play 10 games, including the Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final against Hearts. With our busy schedule, there's a good chance the players could be knackered for their big night.

The Aberdeen game, due to be played on Boxing Day, will now be played on Tuesday, January 12. The Hamilton game, due to take place last night, will be played a week later on January 19. Quite why the SPL are so desperate to get the games played I'm not sure. Why not have a midweek or two off, or at least wait until the weather is better. To make things worse, both Tuesday's are set aside for Scottish Cup replays, meaning the games could be off anyway!

Perhaps the packed fixture list will see the board release some money to the manager to allow him to bring in some more players for the busy schedule.
